Always Professional!
My name is Nikki Hill and I work for OSI Restaurant Partners, as a Construction Project Manager for Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Our Concept President Steve Shlemon decided he liked the look of Venetian Plaster. We then sought out many individuals who had the talent to apply this application to all of our soffits. We found Luis Raposo. He not only left us with an incredible finished product, but was always professional and worked well with our fast pace projects. I feel very comfortable saying Luis is the best in the industry and would work with him anytime.
Total Commitment to Quality!
Luis Raposo applied many different techniques and colors of plaster finishes throughout my home. The applications add a rich dimension to the rooms. It was a pleasure working with Luis. He had a total commitment to quality and prepared multiple samples for me to choose from. I am thrilled with the results and expect to enjoy the backdrop of textures in my home for many years to come.
Superb Work!
I had a wonderful experience working with Luis Raposo. Luis and his crew are polite, timely and did superb work. They communicated everything to us and stayed within the agreed upon budget. Also, Luis has great creative design ideas. He meet every challenge with enthusiasm and professionalism. I look forward to working with Luis in the future.
Pleasure to Work With!
Luis was an absolute pleasure to work with. Above his attention to detail and craftsmanship is his honesty and integrity. Exceptional from start to finish bar none. I would happily recommend him.
Luis Delivers!
We used Luis to do the lobby of our most recent project, M2, in Hoboken which is the first LEED Platinum condominium in the state of NJ. We needed a high-end lobby and Luis delivered it. His was always on time, very neat, finished on schedule and the end product was absolutely beautiful. The price was great as well and I would give Luis my highest recommendation.
Highly Reccomended!
Luis is a highly talented and extraordinary artist. Venetian plaster is a painstaking and intricate multi-layer process which requires genuine craftsmanship and first-rate execution. In addition to his superb color judgment and finishing advice, Luis is a gentleman and a pleasure to work with. He has earned my highest recommendation.
Gem of a Man!
In the spring of 2016, Luis Raposo contacted me regarding my work with restoration of adobe buildings and use of lime plaster. To my surprise, our conversation went from discussing my projects, materials, and methods, to Luis asking if he could come to visit, at his own expense, and possibly join us in the work on a job in the future. What a rare treat – to encounter a fellow tradesman so genuinely committed to the craft as to want to expand his knowledge and skills that he would travel over 2,000 miles to come play in the dirt! On his own dime, no less! Yes, a few weeks later Luis Raposo did come, and he worked alongside me and as we repaired century old adobe walls. He is now familiar with assessing adobe damage, the use of traditional rajuela anchoring methods, and mixing and applying lime plaster base and scratch coats. On top of being a talented plasterer, Luis is a gem of a man– easy to work with, committed to doing the best job possible; as well as being polite, respectful, and of good humor.
